Patient Registrar - Psychiatry - Westchester

Register patients for procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.  We're seeking energetic, approachable individuals with a desire to put patients first. 

This position will work in both the inpatient and outpatient departments, Monday-Friday with some evening coverage.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience working in a clerical position in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of health insurance benefits/requirements

Required Criteria

• One year of clerical experience
• Excellent Communication and Customer Services Skills
• Accurate Data Entry capabilities
• High school diploma or GED

$31.14-$38.70/Hourly
