Patient Care Technician (PCT / CNA) – Intermediate Care Unit

The George Washington University Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient responses.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of CNA certification course, PCT program, Medical Assistant Course, or (2) years of nursing school.
- CNA certification preferred
- At least 6 month of recent patient care experience in a healthcare facility settings.
- Acute Care experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
