Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate efficient and accurate patient registration, screening, and pre-service collection activities.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
Educate patients on hospital policies, registration procedures, and financial responsibilities with a friendly demeanor.
Verify insurance coverage via phone, fax, or online methods.
Assist patients in understanding their financial obligations, providing estimates as needed.
Offer flexible payment options and process payments securely.
Act as a helpful resource, providing solutions and support to patients and colleagues alike.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of customer service.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience with data entry and PC usage.
Knowledge or coursework in medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
