Part Time Teller - Downtown Urbana - Busey

Position Summary At Busey, our tellers develop relationships with customers by offering best-in-class customer service, asking targeted questions, and providing accurate and efficient banking transactions. As an associate in one of our service centers we also count on tellers to focus on our customer's experience - greeting, listening to understand needs, and utilizing resources for prompt solution. Duties & Responsibilities Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am-5:45pm and Saturdays 8:30-12:30.

• Facilitate an excellent customer service experience, while maintaining confidentiality & professionalism
• Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling.
• Refer customers to bankers, allowing for further discovery of products and services that might be valuable
• Balance cash drawer, daily, with high degree of accuracy.
• Appropriately gain manager assistance (Ex: should suspicious transaction activity be spotted, or additional clearance is needed for transaction amount/type.)
• Scanning work for image branch capture.
• Other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceKnowledge of:

  • Bank compliance, security, and operational policiesAbility to:
    • Learn to operate basic office equipment and systems at teller terminal
    • Accurately count money
    • Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
    • Stand for extended periods of time
    • Lift 50 poundsEducation and Training:
      • High School diploma (or equivalent)
      • Cash handling experience (preferred)
      • Pursuant to the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act ("SAFE Act"), all Bankers (if lending) are required to maintain current registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry ("NMLS"). If such registration is not active as of the hire date, the Banker must immediately attain active registration upon employment.
