Compensation: $100K - $120K (based on experience)
Status: Full time – in office ( monthly MTA pass provided)

As a Paraplanner, you will utilize best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your sleeves and work in direct collaboration with the firm’s founder to tackle complex financial, estate, and tax planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none.

As a Paraplanner, you can expect to:
- Review brokerage statements provided by clients and prospective clients.
- Review Internal brokerage statements and reports.
- Document Client meetings, process business and general information, and Organize data.
- Assist in various portfolio management tasks.
- Prepare for Public Firm Events (such as conferences, public speaking, and educational classes).
- Provide technical support to the firm’s advisors.
- Participate and listen carefully in planning meetings and translate the discussions into a strategy for analysis to help drive financial planning efforts.
- Create financial planning folders, agendas, gather supporting documentation and assist advisors with preparation for client meetings.
- Prepare for client meetings, preparing agendas and supporting documentation for review by advisor; complete follow up arising from client meetings, and correspond with clients, advisors and vendors as needed.
- Follow through on post-meeting activities including updating client data, synthesizing notes, and completing communications in CRM.
- Keep meticulous records of interactions and plan progress using the CRM, etc.
- Conduct research on various projects that the adviser requests, which could be diverse (Investment analysis, Portfolio structure, prospecting, updating client data, enhancing the client experience)
- Work extensively in our 401(K)-retirement department, servicing existing plans and preparing presentations for prospective plans.
- Produce and maintain reports and logs.
- Sending, receiving, and processing client documents and communications with clients, other professional advisors, and vendors.
- Own the implementation of client planning strategies.
- Continuously stay in relationship with colleagues and clients, understanding their unique circumstances, connections, talents, interests, etc.
- Stay current on trends in the financial planning area.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 7 required
- Life and Health Insurance License (or familiarity with insurance sales and underwriting process a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management operations.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong computer desktop skills are required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Morningstar Advisor Workstation, social media. Additional direct software such as NFS Wealthscape, CRM, Outlook, and FI360.
- Organized, good follow through/tenacity, and ability to understand product details.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
