We are seeking candidates for a Paralegal position with an industry leading real estate company located in Boston, MA. The Paralegal will negotiate, review, and administer agreements relative to real estate transactions, while providing legal and administrative support to the team with regulatory compliance programs, real estate-based contracts, and assisting Attorneys with transactional and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience required, preferably corporate law or law firm experience.
This is a 2-month contract position that will pay $28-30/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:
- Support the intake process for new legal matters by assessing the nature of issues (under supervision), entering information into databases, coordinating with department attorneys and internal business clients, and tracking progress through resolution.
- Assist in the preparation, execution, filing, and administration of legal documents. Provide general attorney support, including organizing files, scanning, mailing, and emailing documents.
- Draft form legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision.
- Review and summarize legal documents, process payment requests, and ensure timely integration and resolution.
- Conduct research, compile, and analyze data.
- Assist with due diligence, including gathering facts and documents from internal departments and external sources.
- Address day-to-day issues related to ongoing litigation or other legal projects.
- Notarize and/or witness the execution of legal documents as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or related experience required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required; corporate law or law firm experience strongly preferred
- Must obtain Notary Public certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts within 90 days of hire or transfer into the position.
- Knowledge of base real estate principles and basic documents drafting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand, conduct, gather, and present research materials
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
