Role Overview:
As a Paid Search Specialist at dot818, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to drive high-quality traffic, maximize ROI, and meet marketing goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing strategies and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement Google Ads strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and audience analysis to ensure effective targeting.
- Create, launch, and manage PPC campaigns across the Google Ads platform.
Optimization & Performance Tracking
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rates, etc.) and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Utilize A/B testing to refine ad copy, bidding strategies, and targeting methods.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with marketing managers, sales teams, and digital marketers to align PPC campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
- Partner with copywriters to craft compelling ad copy and with web developers to optimize landing pages.
- Collaborate with data analysts to track and report on campaign performance.
Continuous Learning & Adaptability
- Stay updated with Google Ads updates, PPC advertising trends, and emerging techniques.
- Adapt to platform changes and industry developments to maintain competitive campaigns.
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare detailed performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for scaling successful campaigns and reallocating budget for underperforming areas.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Proven ability to achieve measurable business outcomes through PPC advertising.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of Google Ads features, including campaign types, ad formats, targeting, and bidding strategies.
- Proficient in keyword research, campaign management, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure campaigns are error-free and optimized for performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Ads certifications.
