About the Job
Spherion has partnered with a major company in the Brazos Valley seeking a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays, ensuring timely resolution.
Communicate project updates and milestones to team members and stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes.
Maintain and track project-related records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Assist in resource allocation and ensure proper utilization of personnel and materials.
Support risk management and quality assurance processes.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
Previous experience in project coordination or administrative support.
Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
Experience working in a specific industry related to the projects (e.g., construction, IT, marketing).

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).

Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
