Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary

Under general supervision the RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. In collaboration with the patient, the patients family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.

Position Requirements:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: The Registered Nurse will have a valid license under the Compact License Agreement. Active Registered Nurse License valid to practice in South Carolina.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Red Cross or through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Red Cross or through the American Heart Association within 6 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association within 6 months.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Three (3) years experience in same day surgery care preferred
