Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive specializing in public relations, social media, and content strategy. This role is integral to the agency’s success, requiring a balance of leadership and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of professional experience, a passion for writing, and a strong background in media relations. The role involves developing and executing PR and content strategies, collaborating across teams, and delivering exceptional results for clients. Success in this position requires attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of media relations campaigns, including identifying key outlets and reporters, creating materials, and conducting follow-ups.
- Develop media relations strategies and recommend innovative approaches to secure coverage for clients.
- Create compelling content across various formats, often working closely with team members such as art directors or strategists.
- Confidently interview subject matter experts to uncover insights that inform content creation.
- Simplify complex topics into engaging and easy-to-understand narratives.
- Build and execute influencer marketing strategies, including day-to-day management of campaigns.
- Plan and execute client events, ensuring seamless delivery and success.
- Apply a deep understanding of client marketing strategies to inform PR and content plans.
- Stay informed about emerging platforms, tools, and best practices to make informed recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams across various disciplines, including social media, creative, and digital.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in public relations, social media, or content strategy.
- Exceptional writing and content creation skills, with a passion for storytelling.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the drive to adjust strategies when necessary to achieve results.
- A collaborative, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of integrity and curiosity.
- Ability to understand target audiences and craft messages that resonate emotionally and practically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently deliver presentations.
- Experience simplifying complex subjects into digestible and compelling content.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity, with on-site presence required three days per week.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
