Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

Experienced in functional assessment and outcomes management, the IRF/PPS coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance in clinical data collection and the reporting needs of the HCFA/CMS Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Prospective Payment System. Assures compliance with all State and Federal requirements related to and oversees the accuracy and timely completion/transmission of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI). Coordinates staff education and training related to scoring and documenting observations of Functional Independence Measures (FIM).
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills.
- LPN or RN current license required.
- Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and familiarity with UDS software.
