PMO Manager (Project Management Office)
We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to lead cross-functional projects within our dynamic Engineering group. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery while meeting quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices within the PMO.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating efforts across various disciplines and stakeholders.
- Identify project goals, objectives, and scope, creating detailed project plans with tasks, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Prepare and present project status reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage change requests, assessing impacts on schedules and budgets, and ensuring proper communication and approval processes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, or equivalent).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects within Engineering or Product Development environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing global project teams is highly desirable.
- Medical device industry or product development experience is required.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs, approximately 3-5 days per month on average.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
