In this role, you’ll serve as the primary contact for customers within a territory spanning from SODO to Chehalis. This position is essential in fostering customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions. The role combines field sales visits with technical expertise and customer service to help clients meet their needs, whether for new systems, expansions, or maintenance of existing systems.
Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan, with transportation reimbursement at 62.5 cents per mile.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers seeking systems, expansions, and parts or service.
- Conduct field sales calls to industrial and municipal plants, offices, and consulting firms within the assigned territory.
- Provide accurate quotes for pricing, terms, and delivery while adhering to established procedures.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to address parts, repair service, and new application needs.
- Use CRM tools to plan, manage, and document sales activities.
- Drive sales growth and profitability while assisting in the design and development of custom systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and technical solutions while resolving customer issues.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions for clients to enhance relationships and product understanding.
Qualifications
- Experience in outside industrial sales or a technical/engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of industrial and fluid-handling equipment with the ability to discuss technical specifications.
- Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve individual and team goals.
- Resides within the designated territory (SODO to Chehalis).
- Willingness to train the right candidate with a collaborative and adaptable mindset, eager to learn the products and market.
