Overview:
The Order Management and Accounting Specialist provides top-tier customer service through proactive management of orders from receipt of order through receipt of payment and by partnering with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class results.
This is a hybrid opportunity. We are looking for someone with the ability to come into the office 2-3x per week.

Your Tasks
- Manage the day-to-day receipt and entry of orders from sales, ensuring completeness and accuracy prior to acknowledging orders.
- Process and deliver sales orders following business guidelines including but not limited to new orders, renewals, and professional service orders.
- Handles the administration and invoicing of customer contracts.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Manage and take ownership of the dunning process for outstanding invoices.
- Preparing Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation for annual audits.
- Serves as a liaison between Finance and Sales to assist with ad hoc questions & general operations support for sales team.
- Attends and actively participates in departmental meetings and calls.
- Performs other tasks as required with Finance and cross-functional partners.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- 3+ years of order management and/or accounting experience
- Broad experience and working knowledge of finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and internal control processes.
- Knowledge of Order Entry and Purchase Order Systems.
- Current understanding of GAAP including revenue recognition.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights to support decision making.
- Salesforce CPQ and accounting software (Sage/NetSuite) preferred.
