Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain Oracle database software
• Design and implement database structures to meet business requirements
• Manage user access and ensure database security
• Perform regular database backups and recovery
• Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans
• Collaborate with development teams to improve database performance
• Plan for future database expansion and capacity requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture SQL and PLSQL
• Experience with Oracle tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM and Recovery Manager RMAN
• Familiarity with database security protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle databases from 11g to19c
• Knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Certification in Oracle Database Administration
