Job Description:
The Oracle Cloud Fusion Solutions Architect will lead and support project activities, guiding the development and management of a portfolio of solutions. This role involves providing expert technical architectural support for solutions involving cloud virtualization, software-defined networking, cloud infrastructure, management, and security, along with integration with third-party products. The Solutions Architect will create deliverables for managing the organization’s portfolio of solutions, including systems, infrastructure services, and application services, to drive business outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the development and management of cloud solutions, focusing on virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and security.
• Provide expert technical support for Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions, including Financials, HCM, SCM, and EPM modules.
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps for cloud solutions.
• Ensure the integration of cloud solutions with third-party products and platforms.
• Support agile teams by advising on opportunities, risks, and the impact of technical and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with architects from other disciplines (e.g., Security, Network, Database) to resolve architectural issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for "to be" and "as is" solutions.
• Guide the technical execution of business outcomes through the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Monitor and provide leadership on the resolution of architectural challenges within the cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance best practices across cloud solutions.

 
Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion solution development, including Financials, HCM, SCM, and EPM modules.
• Exposure to diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
• Understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and their practical application to business models.
• Experience in developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Certification or license in Cloud Systems Architecture is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion architecture, configuration, and data structures.
• Proficient in integration techniques, Oracle Fusion APIs, Web Services, and middleware solutions.
• Knowledgeable in security practices and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
• Proficient in IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL standards.
• Ability to work in an outsourced development environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 
 
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
