Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of multiple contracts. You will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring that processes run efficiently, delivering the highest quality services to our customers. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with other cross functional departments. The Operations Manager will Utilize Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to for word TRDI’s mission and core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop site Project Managers to achieve compliance with contract agreements, departmental, and company goals.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Responsible for directing, hiring, firing, training, developing and appraising staff effectively at all contract job sites; makes recommendations within authority.
- Set performance goas and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Anticipate and proactively resolve potential problems.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Resource Management:
- Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet service delivery targets.
- Effectively allocate resources to ensure efficient and effective compliance with contract requirements, contract budgets, and deliverables.
- Responsible for long term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence, best safety practices, security, asset management plans, and overall contract operations.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all services meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
- Implement lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the contract.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage assigned contract budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high operational standards.
- Participate in contract renewals, price proposals,
Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the timely delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms.
- Oversee inventory levels and manage inventory accuracy to minimize shortages and excesses.
Data Analysis:
- Utilize data analysis tools and reports to make informed decisions and provide regular reports to the management team.

Project Management:
- Coordinate and lead special projects and initiatives to improve operations or introduce new products or services leading to such improvement.
- Fill interim project management role as needed throughout the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with senior management, department heads, customers, and business unit leaders to build strong relationships and facilitate operations management integration into strategic decision-making processes.
- Interact with external stakeholders, such as customers, union representatives, assessors, and regulators, to address inquiries and maintain favorable business relations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) operations management, preferably in TRDI’s service industry (ies).
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to contract operations.
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Labor wage and hour laws, Service Contract Act, Federal Acquisition Regulation, AbilityOne Commission Policies, National Labor Relations Act, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and business practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional certifications in the industry are advantageous.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and other relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
Education & Experience:
- A BS/BAS in Business Administration, Project Management or related field. Proven experience as Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist.
- Proven experience in operations management in a multi-location environment.

Schedule:
- Typical Monday thru Friday with some overnight travel to various job-sites.

San Antonio, TX, and travel to job-sites in nine states
