_Position Summary:_
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of operations, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory. They will be responsible for championing safety, driving quality, leading production, controlling costs, and managing inventory. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the business line as a responsive, capable, agile, and committed leader enabling its customers’ success.
_Duties and Responsibilities:_
+ Safety + Act as the safety champion for the business line. + Identify and lead safety improvement projects throughout the facility. + Quality: + Drive a quality vison that supports and exceed customer expectations. + Create sustainable structure and processes to support quality improvement opportunities throughout the production processes. + Own customer quality scorecards. + Implement quality control measures, conduct regular audits, and manage procedures that meet the business line quality standards. + Production Leadership and Management: + Develop and implement strategies to prioritize production activities based on organizational goals and customer demands. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication in the production process. + Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, and supply chain specialists to efficiently meet customer delivery requirements. + Lead integration of new product and process development into production process. + Identify and drive accountability to production KPI (Key Performance Indicators) throughout the business line. + Identify and build funnel of productivity improvement projects for the business line. + Forecasting: + Aid the Business Line Leader in monthly and quarterly production predictions, identifying key performance indicators and adjusting capacity requirements as needed. + Analyze demand trends to proactively adjust capacity and position business line to meet evolving demand. + Continuous Improvement: + Lead initiatives for large-scale process improvements and capability enhancements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity. + Implement best practices and innovative solutions to continuously enhance operational effectiveness. + Customer Relations + Cultivate and maintain strong with key customer relationships to understand their needs and expectations. + Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly, working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. + People Development: + Assess training needs and develop training plans to meet individual and organizational aspirations. + Collaborate with the training manager and production supervisors to implement training programs that enhance skills and competencies, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated workforce. + Any other duties as assigned by the Business Line Leader or his/her designate.
_Experience / Skills / Abilities:_
+ Experience working in a production environment preferred. + Experience with ERP systems environment. + Experience working in a fast-paced, high mix environment a plus. + Experience managing a team preferred. + Proficient with basic computer use (Microsoft Office suite), communication tools (e-mail, instant messages). + Strong work ethic. + Highly self-motivated learner. + Team player with solid problem-solving skills.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $83,500.00 - $125,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
