Job Description: This position will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our home care agency. The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home care agency, ensuring efficient processes, regulatory compliance, and outstanding client satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, optimize workflows, and continuously improve operational excellence. This position requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure the efficient management of staff and client services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations, including client care coordination, staffing, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement improvements.
Team Management:
Supervise and support care coordinators, field staff, and administrative personnel.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster professional growth.
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure high standards of care.
Client Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with clients and families, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
Conduct regular client satisfaction surveys and follow up on feedback.
Resource Management:
Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and expense management.
Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure the availability of necessary supplies and services.
Strategic Planning:
Identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and expand the company’s footprint.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (preferred). High school diploma required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the home care or healthcare industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
