About the Job
Gpac is seeking a Operations Data Analyst for a client company in the manufacturing industry. This role will be critical in supporting the operational success of the company by creating and managing reporting systems across key departments, including Operations, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Logistics, etc. This role demands a forward-thinking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the analyst will develop actionable insights, design data-driven solutions, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes while fostering collaboration and effective communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Reporting
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems for all departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in capturing operational metrics.
- Regularly update and distribute performance dashboards, summaries, and analytical insights to provide actionable intelligence.
- Create customized reports and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams, showcasing trends, progress, and recommendations.
Process Improvement and Solution Development
- Leverage data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across departments.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative, scalable solutions to operational challenges.
- Proactively monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to forecast operational needs and optimize resources.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Prioritize projects using the 80/20 principle, focusing on high-priority tasks that drive significant impact.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing detailed analyses and proposing data-backed recommendations.
- Assist the VP of Operations in preparing and delivering high-quality presentations for executive meetings and stakeholder engagements.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with departmental leads in all locations to align on objectives and ensure cohesive reporting processes.
- Serve as a central point of communication between departments, ensuring consistency in data interpretation and strategy execution.
- Build strong relationships across teams to foster collaboration and drive a positive company culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years in a data analysis role, preferably in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with database management and query languages (e.g., SQL).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and operational software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and aligns well with company values.
- Characteristics: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing or related industries.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Proven ability to design and manage cross-departmental reporting frameworks.
