Position Summary | The UNM-Taos EMS Education Program invites applicants to apply for full-time, 9- month, Lecturer (dependent on credentials) faculty position. EMS faculty at UNM-Taos provide quality education for students in northern New Mexico, preparing EMS providers who are compassionate, knowledgeable, and competent in providing care for our diverse community. Salary runs $58,000-$62,000 depending on education and qualifications. The position provides coordination and instruction for the students entering into and throughout the Associate of Science Degree in EMS, as well as EMS certification courses (Basic and AEMT). Instructional responsibilities include classroom, lab, clinical, office hours, and simulation using widely accepted learning theory and methodologies. Service and scholarship responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinical coordination and oversight, student mentoring and advising, and participation in University, EMS Education program, or EMS organizational committees and activities to ensure program outcomes and achievements. All full-time continuing faculty positions have both instructional and non-instructional responsibilities. |
