Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the President, the Office Manager/Bookkeeper oversees and directs the accounting, financial, auditing, reporting, and budgeting functions of the Fund. This position ensures compliance with all financial regulations, implements accounting systems to meet compliance requirements, and serves as a financial advisor to staff regarding fiscal aspects of the Fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Fund’s fiscal operations, including program liabilities, submission of financial reports, and execution of accounting operations.
- Prepare budgets and grant applications, including developing budget line-item spreadsheets.
- Serve as a liaison with funding sources and independent auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws, funding source rules, and regulations.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate cash flow for the Fund.
- Collaborate with staff to plan and execute fundraising events.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field (accounting and bookkeeping courses required).
- FUND-EZ experience required.
- Nonprofit experience preferred.
