Sales Representative (Construction & Industrial Off Highway Products) Opportunity Summary:
Sales Representative- Sales, Construction & Industrial (Off-Highway) Products sells W.W. Williams products through relationships with OEMs and end-user of equipment powered by our product offerings by determining customer needs and matching solutions for these customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Successful candidate will have experience working long sales cycles and interacting with OEM principals including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations.
- Calls on customers' management representatives such as engineers, contractors, and/or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments relative to the assigned product and territory.
- Aftersales support for parts and service opportunities by calling on dealers and end users.
- Prepares and provides product information and proposals/quotes that meet customers' requirements to secure orders for products or services offered.
- Reviews project plans and specifications, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or product comparisons from customers' use of proposed equipment or services.
- Provides technical information and product familiarization to customers' employees.
- Gives technical sales presentations, answers technical questions, and provides technical analysis for potential and existing projects in collaboration with factory engineers and/or representatives
- Provides resolution to technical project issues and challenges.
- Maintains market intelligence on competition, advising the Sales Manager of competitive activities.
- Assists in the development and implementation of strategies and programs to increase sales and revenue.
- Reviews and follows up on leads and prospects developed through inquiries, referrals, or other lead-development tactics.
- Attends relevant industry trade shows and conferences to solicit new business.
- Completes all the necessary reporting via reports and/or CRM system to create records of all customer contacts, sales calls, and opportunities.
- Maintains the technical expertise necessary to represent and sell all OEM products and services offered by W. W. Williams.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
