Occupational Therapist- Assistant - stafffinders

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) will provide treatment and instruction to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, adhering to the established Plan of Care and regulatory requirements. The OTA will document patient progress, report significant outcomes, and assist with clinic maintenance while complying with all relevant regulations and facility policies.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver patient treatment and services as per the Occupational Therapist's plan.
• Document patient progress and report any necessary modifications to the plan.
• Maintain clinic equipment and supplies in accordance with safety standards.
• Adhere to compliance plans and regulations governing healthcare services.
• Uphold core values: Positive Attitude, Ethical, Adaptability, Kindness.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed as an OTA in Texas.
• Demonstrated physical and mental capabilities for the role.

Experience:

• Preferred: One year of experience with pediatrics; recent graduates considered.

Physical Demands:

• Manual dexterity and strength required; lifting and carrying loads of 5-35 pounds.
• Potential exposure to hazardous substances and bloodborne pathogens.
