Responsibilities

• Assists with surgical procedures from general surgery to orthopedics.
• Acts as primary scrub handling instruments, supplies and equipment during procedures.
• Vigilantly maintains the sterile field at all times.
• Helps maintain equipment, instruments and inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Graduation from accredited School of Surgical Technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment
• Ability to prioritize, use good judgement and remain calm during moments of crisis.
• Exhibit clear attention to detail and anticipate the needs of surgeons and OR staff.
