Our primary goal is to attract a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced inpatient/outpatient environment with a team-based approach. The department provides comprehensive Nephrology subspecialty services including: inpatient evaluation of acute kidney injury (AKI), critical care consultation, continuous dialysis, acute and chronic dialysis, outpatient management of kidney disease, and postoperative/long-term management of kidney transplant recipients. Primary responsibilities include: Assist inpatient providers with new consults and inpatient follow-ups for patients with acute kidney injury and electrolyte abnormalitiesEvaluate dialysis patients and write inpatient dialysis ordersAssist with inpatient charting and documentationAssist providers in outpatient Nephrology clinicEducationBachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required),
