Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient and outpatient care, clinical practice and quality outcomes, and human resource leadership.
Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Manager in Endoscopy, you will be responsible for the overall management of the endoscopy unit. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the endoscopy team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Overseeing the operational and financial performance of the unit, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with all clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement protocols for minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgeries.
- Managing complex cases involving conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, bleeding, constipation, liver, pancreas and bile duct issues, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and motility.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in endoscopy nursing, with a strong background in inpatient and outpatient care.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical practice and quality outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in human resource leadership.
- Proven ability to manage the environment and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Experience in financial management and stewardship, with a track record of driving financial growth.
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Experience in managing complex cases and conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, abdominal pain, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, bleeding, constipation, liver, pancreas and bile duct issues, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and motility.
