Job Details
Seeking an experienced Non-Profit Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, prepare returns, and advise on tax-related matters for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (e.g., Form 990, 990-T).
Prepare and review annual tax filings and reports.
Advise leadership on tax laws, regulations, and changes.
Lead tax-related audits and collaborate with auditors.
Research non-profit tax laws and maintain accurate tax records.
Collaborate with teams on tax-compliant fundraising and donations.
Develop tax strategies to optimize efficiency and compliance.
Mitigate tax risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
Provide tax training to staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
5+ years of tax compliance experience
Knowledge of 501(c)(3) regulations and non-profit tax filings.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
