Wayne's Foods Plus is a small town family-owned grocery store since 1975. We have 3 locations in Danbury, Webster, and Luck Wisconsin.

Night Manager

Reports to: Store Manager, General Manager

Department: All

Position Summary: This position shares responsibilities for the store and its operation with the store manager. Coordinate and direct overall operations of the store in the absence of the store manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Actively support the store manager in the fulfillment of their responsibilities.
2. Responsible for management of store personnel.
3. Assists store manager and department managers in training and development.
4. Enforce company’s policies in strengthening solid employee relations.
5. Handles customer complaints.
6. Keep meat, produce, and bakery/bread departments full and faced.
7. Responsible to see that merchandise is properly priced.
8. Responsible for checking ads, pricing, and ensure proper display.
9. Follow and enforce all policies and procedures established for the store.
10. Security maintenance-lock all back doors by 5 p.m.
11. Oversee housekeeping, and equipment maintenance.
12. Contributing to profitable operation of store.
13. Enforce receiving procedure according to company policy.
14. Face perimeter of store.
15. Plan merchandise displays to obtain maximum sales and profits.
16. Follows the company’s dress code policy.
17. Stock shelves.
18. Check cashiers facing and help stock person with duties as needed.
19. Pull, thaw, and sell bakery as needed.
20. Get backroom ready for the next day; face aisle 1
21. Turn off case lights and pull deli chicken.
22. Complete any special projects for the evening.
23. Promote trust and respect among associates.
24. Display a positive attitude.
25. Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
26. Report all safety risks or issues and illegal activity including robbery, theft, or fraud.
