Title: Network Engineer

Long term Contract

Locations: REMOTE 

Hourly rate: $35/hr on w2 (negotiable)

Job Description and Requirements:

To build and maintain a strong and efficient network infrastructure for the Client’s locations.

To assess the Client's needs and implement solutions to ensure a safe and dependable network. Diagnosing network issues, upgrading hardware and software, and remaining current on industry trends to recommend changes.

• Should have knowledge on routine maintenance and upgrades are performed to avoid downtime and security concerns.

• Hands on experience on LANs, WANs, and other network topologies are designed and implemented and evaluating and selecting hardware and software solutions to satisfy the Client's needs.

• Hospitality Client is desirable but not mandatory.

• Diagnosing and addressing network faults as soon as possible and work with end-user technical assistance and collaboration with other IT teams to resolve issues.

• Working with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and security specialists, to maintain a cohesive IT environment and Routine maintenance and upgrades are performed to avoid downtime and security concerns.

Requirements and Skills: Network Engineer

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.

• Hands on experience on networking protocols and technology and possess excellent communication skills for efficient collaboration and user assistance.

• Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls) and software.

• Relevant certifications (for example, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
