Network Engineer

Position Overview for the Network Engineer:
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure projects and Network Management System(s).
- Provide insight into potential improvements for the environment and help troubleshoot outages
- Configure and install new hardware/software related to network and server infrastructure
Required Skills for the Network Engineer:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking utilizing advanced knowledge of routers, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Strong implementing and optimizing the core network infrastructures utilizing MPLS (SR).
- Configuring complex routing protocols BGP and OSPF on Cisco NXOS and Cisco XR platforms.
- Extensive experience configuring and supporting WAN, Internet circuits and virtual private network connections (VPN).
