Wireless Engineer (SME/Architect) 4G/5G
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite 4 days/week)
Requirements
- Wireless Expertise: Advanced knowledge of 4G/5G, LTE, and wireless networking.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure).
- Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
- Cybersecurity: Familiar with endpoint security, vulnerability management, and access control.
- Automation Skills: Experience in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure automation.
- Additional Experience:
- Working with vendor routers, switches, and devices (Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Responsibilities:
- Wireless Network Design: Design and implement scalable, secure network solutions for 4G/5G and enterprise technologies.
- Troubleshoot and administer network systems.
- Collaborate with the Emerging Wireless and TPX teams for customer pilots.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and maintain cloud configurations and security guidelines.
- Automate infrastructure processes for efficiency.
- Ensure security compliance and implement best practices.
- Documentation & Communication: Create network diagrams, operational guidelines, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate effectively with business and engineering teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ Years of experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
- AWS Certification (preferred) Must be able to pass Security Test.
