About the Job
A client in the Houston area is looking for a Network Analyst to join their Network Operations team in a hybrid role. This person will primarily be responsible for the day to day management of firewalls and switching. The ideal candidate will monitor and manage a queue of tickets and handle all network related tickets, handle escalations, and delegate if workload is high. This candidate will support anywhere from one to eight tickets per day, with resolution time depending on the severity of the issue. Additionally, this person will manage firewall requests, validate requests, and close the request within approximately two weeks. Lastly, this person will address any and all other related network issues as they arise, such as slow wireless connections or connectivity problems.
Must Haves:
3-6 years of experience as a Network Analyst
3+ years of experience with Palo Alto (Panorama)
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
Proficiency with Cisco FMC
Plusses:
Experience utilizing Splunk for log analysis
CCNA certification
CCNP certification
