National Shuttle Manager, Dallas
UOVO, the nation’s leading storage and services provider for art, archives, and collectibles seeks a National Shuttle Manager to join its dynamic and growing team.
UOVO seeks a full-time National Shuttle Manager to manage the Dallas based National Shuttle operations, personnel and fleet management program. The ideal candidate will have strong people management, communication, logistics and transportation management skills. Should have prior experience working in art services and transportation industries; in addition, will be comfortable creating and overseeing efficient operations for UOVO’s National Shuttle fleet and staff. The National Shuttle Manager will report to UOVO’s Director of Operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a team of National Shuttle Team drivers, ensuring and supporting best practices as it pertains to BOLs, driving logs, inventory control, handling, scanning, technical skills and client satisfaction.
- Manage load planning techniques and trucking routes to ensure optimization of the schedule.
- Monitor dispatch to provide quick and efficient turnaround in support of Account Management and Estimates.
- Provide real-time updates and tracking of weekly routes, deliveries, collections and offsite deliveries.
- In coordination with UOVOs Fleet Compliance Manager, ensure the National Shuttle fleet is compliant with DOT regulations and ELD logs. Working together to continuously improve UOVO’s fleet maintenance program to ensure the highest level of performance of the equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the National Shuttle driving teams transporting artwork to UOVO locations, and offsite stops, on a weekly basis across the country.
- In conjunction with key stakeholders, establish goals and objectives in line with UOVO’s Performance
- Upholding UOVO’s safety culture
- Management program; providing semi-annual feedback and completing performance reviews for all direct
- reports and subsequent team members.
- Create a positive and engaging work environment by mentoring, coaching, and motivating direct reports
- and their team members.
- Other projects as assigned by Manager

Qualifications & Skills
- Team Player who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Experience with over the road, shuttle team driving is a plus
- Art Logistics experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to learn UOVO’s software systems
- Ability to quickly prioritize and allocate resources
- Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid
- Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
- Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow
This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO’s Dallas facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights, holidays, and on weekends.
