About the role
PopStroke is seeking an innovative and result-driven National Director of Membership Sales to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be responsible for expanding our venue and corporate memberships; creating, delivering, and further developing our brand presence across the U.S.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, business development, and establishing lasting relationships with clients to bolster PopStroke's market presence and revenue.

What you"ll do
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in venue and corporate memberships and member events.
- Generate new leads and identify business opportunities through various channels.
- Inbound Sales Management: Efficiently handle inbound membership inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to potential members.
- Develop, analyze, and evolve all membership offerings and programming to strategically serve our current and future clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client and member relationships.
- Negotiate attractive partnership deals and ensure mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy.
- Oversee the membership enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all new and existing members.
- Coordinate membership renewal campaigns, including reminders, outreach, and incentives to encourage retention.
- Lead and manage membership sales team members in larger markets to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and materials.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new market opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the management team, maintain profit guidelines for events.
- Analyze membership data to track growth, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Plan and execute exclusive member events, programs, and experiences that enhance member value and increase engagement.
- Ensure that membership benefits are aligned with member expectations and business goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to membership programs and member engagement.
- Maintain a service mindset and delivery of service standards and expectations appropriate around influential and discerning guests, and understand their unique interests, preferences, and desired experiences.
- Support strategic initiatives related to building a strong membership base and enhance events and create exceptional experiences to build loyalty.
- Mentor, coach, and motivate sales team members to exceed quarterly and annual goals for each location.
- Work closely with the hospitality team to ensure seamless member event execution and exceptional member experiences.
- Represent PopStroke in various networking and industry events.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the hospitality, leisure, or similar industry.
- Exceptional aptitude in managing budgets, driving performance, increasing revenue and converting leads into sales.
- Exceptional personal presence with employees and guests; highly engaged in day-to-day operations.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Negotiation and diplomacy skills with team members, guests, corporate partners, and ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with corporations, community members, and guests in each PopStroke market.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate the event team.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Knowledge of the golf industry and enthusiasm for the sport is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel within the U.S.
