Position Overview: The National Account Manager for Walmart will be tasked with overseeing and advancing the strategic relationship between Taylor Farms, a premier provider of fresh produce and healthy food solutions, and Walmart, one of the company's most significant and high-priority accounts. Taylor Farms is dedicated to delivering premium, nutritious, and convenient food offerings, including fresh-cut salads, vegetables, meal kits, and ready-to-eat products. This position offers a unique opportunity that extends beyond the traditional National Account Manager role, providing the chance to operate within a dynamic, fast-paced environment with short-shelf life products, multiple production facilities, and significant cross-functional collaboration. Work Environment:

• This role requires regular travel to Walmart headquarters and stores
• Flexible work hours to accommodate Walmart’s retail schedule and business needs.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management:
2. Lead the day-to-day relationship with Walmart, serving as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the account.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Walmart decision-makers across various departments (e.g., merchandising, supply chain, category management).
4. Act as a liaison between Walmart and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of business strategies.
5. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring all milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
6. Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and distribution agreements with Walmart to secure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
7. Sales and Revenue Growth:
8. Drive sales growth and market share within Walmart through strategic account planning and execution.
9. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
10. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand product assortment or enter new categories within Walmart stores.
11. Product Assortment & Innovation:
12. Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure the right product assortment is offered to Walmart.
13. Recommend new product ideas, promotional strategies, and packaging to drive consumer demand and improve shelf space.
14. Strategic Planning and Execution:
15. Collaborate with Walmart to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and business needs.
16. Work with internal marketing and operations teams to develop targeted promotional plans, marketing initiatives, and pricing strategies that align with Walmart’s objectives.
17. Lead the planning and execution of line reviews with Walmart to ensure alignment on growth targets, promotions, and category strategies.
18. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
19. Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and supply chain, to ensure the successful execution of Walmart strategies.
20. Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries, inventory management, and product availability at Walmart distribution centers and stores.
21. Work with marketing teams to develop promotions and marketing initiatives that highlight the health and sustainability attributes of Taylor Farms' products.
22. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency between Taylor Farms and Walmart.
23. Develop and implement best practices to ensure effective project execution and smooth communication between internal team and customer.
24. Customer Insights and Reporting:
25. Monitor and analyze sales data, customer trends, and Walmart’s performance to identify opportunities and challenges.
26. Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations to optimize product assortment and promotional strategies.
27. Problem Resolution and Customer Satisfaction:
28. Address any operational or customer service issues promptly to ensure Walmart’s satisfaction and minimize any disruptions to the business relationship.
29. Proactively manage and resolve any conflicts or concerns related to product quality, supply chain issues, or account discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in national account management, retail sales, or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience managing accounts with Walmart or other large retailers.
• Proven track record of driving sales, building relationships, and managing large accounts.
• Deep understanding of Walmart’s business model, vendor requirements, and retail operations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior-level executives.
• Expertise in developing line review presentations, promotional strategies, and pricing negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with sales analytics and CRM software.
