About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU I) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night Shift, 11.50 hours **Guaranteed Hours:** Choice of 34.5 or 46 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in the specialty within the last 3 years **License:** New York State RN License in hand **Certifications:** AHA BLS, AHA ACLS for critical units **Must-Have:** - BSN - Travel experience or local experience in a large academic setting - Level 1 trauma experience - 2 references from the most recent assignment - EMT experience required - COVID vaccinated prior to start date **Job Description:** - Voice Advantage Interview and Nurse Manager Screening are required - Weekly start dates, average 4-6 weeks needed for compliance - Requires experience in a teaching hospital setting - Weekend work required every other weekend - Floating required to areas within acuity appropriate for skill set - Navy bottom and white top or all white scrubs; navy bottom requires dark shoes, all white requires white shoes - Flu/COVID vaccinations required; no declinations Ideal candidates will demonstrate a willingness to float to units appropriate for their skill set and have recent references to verify competence in required skills.
