BCforward seeks a highly motivated Mutual Funds Accountant for an opportunity in Milwaukee, WI

Position Title: Mutual Funds Accountant
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Anticipated Start Date: 01/20/2025

Expected Duration: 12+ Months (Possibly for extension)
Job Type: Hybrid with 3 full 8-hour days (their choice of which 3 days) in office and 2 from anywhere they choose.
Pay Range: $25.64/hr. to $27.14/hr.
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:
Works as part of a team responsible for maintaining the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity and producing end-of-day net asset value calculations. Prepares daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, advisor/portfolio management processing, corporate action application, expense accrual/payment postings, daily net asset value and mill rate determinations, portfolio pricing analysis/validations, timely internal/external information distributions, portfolio reconciliations, etc. Partners with various internal/external administrators, transfer agencies and prime brokers/custodian relationships collaborating on compliance, audit, and financials while ensuring all Fund Accounting functions comply with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- intermediate Level Accounting Experience, Excel proficiency
