We are seeking skilled part-time music instructors for various instruments who are passionate about music and promoting our faith-based mission. This is a ten-month position.
Qualifications

Education & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in music from accredited college/university; Master's degree is a plus
- One or more years experience in teaching musical instrument performance for specific instrument
- Or, equavelent combination of education and experience
- Must be a fluent player of the specific musical instrument which will be taught
Experience
- Should be experienced in teaching students with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in a private setting
- Should have a strong classical background
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years playing as a musician and one (1) or more years as a teacher for the specific instrument
Abilities
- Upbeat, positive attitude with good communication and observational skills
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using English; bilingual skills are a plus
- Must be able to teach music theory concepts effectively to students
- Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to the primary instrument
- Effectively manage time and have excellent organizational skills to keep students on task
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents of young students
Other:
- Physical abilities: Ability to sit/stand for periods of time with good hearing and eyesight
- Successful background check, reference checking, and drug screening clearance
