Based in the Newark, Ohio area, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced MultiCraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Engineering industry. As a MultiCraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your skills in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and PLC system issues.
3. Fabricate and modify metal components as required.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement operational improvements and new installations.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
9. Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
2. Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. High level of physical fitness, able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
7. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Completion of a relevant trade certification or diploma is preferred.
