We have expanded to seven retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. About The Role
Fresh Baguette is seeking a dynamic and experienced Multi-Unit General Manager to join our growing Retail Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire multiple bakery locations, drive operational excellence, profitability, and team development in alignment with Fresh Baguette's core values. This salaried, full-time role requires an experienced and hands-on leader passionate about creating a positive organizational culture, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving business results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership by fostering excitement, positivity, and a commitment to Fresh Baguette's Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, and Customer Oriented.
- Drive sales and profit performance by providing operational support and expertise across multiple locations.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews to ensure profitability and accurate reporting for each location.
- Set individual goals for team members, develop organizational capabilities, and improve workflow efficiencies.
- Lead, motivate, and develop teams to exceed existing performance standards.
- Plan, organize, and lead team meetings with assistants, shift leaders, and team members.
- Act as a Fresh Baguette brand ambassador through active involvement in the community and local marketing efforts.
- Train and coach teams to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational goals.
- Promote Fresh Baguette's culture, values, and vision with integrity and passion.
- Ensure adherence to Fresh Baguette standards, with emphasis on food safety and customer service.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, associates, and leadership to track and enhance personal progress.
- Monitor operations using management tools to identify trends, resolve issues, and achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct audits to ensure all equipment and fixtures are maintained in proper working order.
- Identify, develop, and reward talent to foster team growth and alignment with future organizational needs.
- Support marketing initiatives while implementing and measuring local business strategies.
- Enforce local and national health and food safety codes as well as Fresh Baguette safety and security policies.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support to assistant managers, shift leaders, and team members.
- Address disciplinary actions as required, and recognize outstanding employee performance.
- Complete bakery-specific needs and actionable tasks to support business growth and management.
Compensation: $85,000-$105,000 / year

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing multi-unit retail or food service locations.
- Proven expertise in driving sales, delivering profitability, and optimizing operational performance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
- Capability to set individual and team goals while fostering operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and effective collaboration with team members and leadership.
- Proficiency in analyzing reports and using operational tools to identify trends and address challenges.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and implement local business initiatives.
- Commitment to Fresh Baguette's vision, core values, and exceptional customer service standards.
- Experience in training and coaching teams for continuous improvement and achieving performance KPIs.
- Ability to actively engage in community involvement and act as a brand ambassador.
- Knowledge of local and national health and food safety regulations.
- Ability to conduct performance assessments, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
