Position Title: Substitute Paraprofessional (also known as Education Technician, Teacher’s Aide, Instructional Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or Education Assistant)

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

Fill in for district employees, adhering to school district lesson plans and rules.
Provide support and assistance to teachers and students in daily classroom activities.
Encourage and facilitate student participation and learning.
Adapt instructional methods to fit various student learning styles.
For long-term positions, develop lesson plans and assess student work.
