Key Responsibilities
- Leverage Your Network: Utilize your established book of business to identify, nurture, and close mortgage opportunities.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Guide clients through the mortgage process with professionalism, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Grow Your Portfolio: Expand your client base by actively prospecting, building relationships, and fostering long-term connections.
- Partner with Real Estate Professionals: Collaborate with real estate agents, financial advisors, and other industry professionals to generate referral opportunities.
- Stay Market-Informed: Stay up-to-date on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to offer clients the best guidance and products.
- Pipeline Management: Manage your loan pipeline efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed throughout the process.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years as a mortgage loan officer or in a similar role.
- Proven success in originating residential loans and consistently meeting or exceeding production goals.
- Existing Book of Business:
- A strong, well-established network of clients, real estate agents, and referral partners.
- Sales and Relationship Management:
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, close high-value deals, and expand referral networks.
- Licensing:
- Active NMLS license and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Appropriate state licenses for the jurisdictions where business will be conducted.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Expertise in mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan origination processes.
- Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loan programs.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Experience using Loan Origination Software (LOS) and CRM tools.
- Comfort with digital marketing platforms and online application systems.
- Pipeline Management:
- Strong organizational skills to manage loans from application through closing, with an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
