The Morgan Stanley at Work business focuses on servicing Morgan Stanley’s corporate clients across a variety of workplace solutions include equity plan administration, retirement plan consulting, executive services, saving and giving solutions and more. The Morgan Stanley at Work B2B Marketing Team focuses on creating strategies and solutions that help foster client and segment engagement and support advisors to win and retain business. This group is broadly responsible for branding, communications, strategic marketing initiatives, and driving growth for the corporate/institutional suite of businesses.
Position Summary:
As part of the Morgan Stanley at Work B2B Marketing team, the candidate will be responsible for leading Acquisition Marketing efforts for Morgan Stanley at Work’s products for both public and private companies. This individual’s effort will include, but not be limited to supporting Equity Solutions marketing needs, with the goal of helping partner teams (sales, relationship management, etc.) win new corporate plans and driving new plan asset acquisition through initiatives that target key prospects across a variety of industries and sizes. This individual will serve as an integral member of the team where he/she will contribute to strategy development, measurement, and other business needs.
This role will be involved in several key account-based marketing campaigns, developing new sales enablement content (e.g. one sheets and/or thought leadership), partnering with key members of sales and partner teams across the business, managing day-to-day operational and administrative needs (legal and compliance reviews, project management tools (e.g. Sprinklr and JIRA), updates to key partners, etc.) and serving as the main point of contact for the business partners.
Principal Areas of Responsibility:
• Act as a Strong B2B Marketer – understand the nuances of B2B vs B2C marketing, acting as an expert in telling compelling stories to a B2B audience.
• Serve as an Industry Expert – understand the insights, driver and pain points of our target corporate audience, overseeing the development of initiatives that help us gather more targeted information on insights and competitive landscape.
• Drive Targeted Campaigns – develop account-based marketing, multi-channel campaigns that target a known audience of prospects and help to increase propensity for conversion to sales conversations.
• Develop Meaningful and Impactful Thought Leadership – generate ideas and drive execution on segment thought leadership that is relevant to the different stages of the sales funnel in partnership with other team members.
• Create Sales Enablement Content – strategize and execute on the development of sales enablement content for externally use while driving internal promotion.
• Build Consensus with Partner Teams – establish strong connectivity with partner business teams to understand, and anticipate, their needs and ensure we’re in alignment with their prospect targets.
• Team Management – this role has one direct report. Responsibilities include setting goals for direct report, overseeing projects and helping direct report grow in their career in the firm.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required plus 7+ years’ experience with acquisition marketing with knowledge in account-based marketing tactics
• Experience in B2B marketing roles, with strong preference in previous experience in marketing to HR professionals
• 3+ years in managing a team and growing their skills
• Very strong written communication skills with a focus on positioning marketing content to prospects
• It’s a plus to have equity compensation and/or HR and benefit solutions experience
• Comfortable expressing thought provoking points of view that help to drive innovation
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Ability to tell cohesive and interesting stories internally and externally
• An eye for quality and a close attention to detail
• Solid project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and make connections between them (technology, legal, compliance, communications, design etc)

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
