About the Job
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Model Based Systems Engineer, Journeyman to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an on contractor site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
+ Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
+ Applies systems engineering experience to perform system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
+ Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to requirements of military weapons systems.
+ May provide entry level support in performing functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Basic Qualifications:
+ A Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required.
+ Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in areas associated with engineering, systems engineering. At least two (2) of those years must include experience with model-based engineering applications and technology, including use of MBSE tools such as Cameo system Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
+ Expertise in building and assessing systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodology.
+ Experience performing system engineering analyses and using results to draw conclusions.
+ Experience with modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, and UAF.
+ This is an at contractor position. Must be able to report to contractor workspaces five (5) days per week.
+ This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must be a US Citizen and have a Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
+ Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
+ Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).
