Overview:
The Restoration Project Manager is responsible for the day to day oversight of all assigned restoration projects. Including but not limited, to Temporary Labor selection, Equipment procurement and inventory, On-site management, Paperwork accuracy and Quality Control. The Restoration Project Manager is also responsible for working closely with occupants and property owners throughout the restoration process, including daily updates to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Direct report to the Restoration Project Manager Team.
- Responds to large losses with the first responder team.
- Recruit temporary labor sources; manage personnel needs in conjunction with Project Coordinator.
- Oversight of all commercial and residential large losses through restoration.
- Assess, scope, and document damage caused by water, fire, or mold incidents.
- Ensure all demolition is clean, complete, and ready for rebuild.
- Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure compliance with Bill Howe safety policies.
- Manage sign-in sheets for all Time and Material projects.
- Adhere to all OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company, customers, and insurance adjusters.
- Communicate project updates, manage customer expectations, and address concerns promptly.
- Ensure project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
- Directly supervise Bill Howe and temporary labor personnel on projects as required.
- Review and monitor paperwork related to the project.
- Ensure all subcontractors and temporary labor are working under a subcontract agreement.
- Approve or reject invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with the Project Accountant.
- Develop and update project schedules as needed.
- Train, mentor, and manage mitigation technicians, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Conduct monthly Game Plan meetings with direct reports.
- Ensure IICRC training is provided and up to date for all Technician personnel.
- Hold team meetings, including weekly training and equipment checks.
- Ensure equipment is in working condition and ready for deployment.
- Manage and maintain equipment inventory lists, updated monthly.
- Ensure vehicles are ready and stocked per Bill Howe specifications.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports, estimates, and supporting documentation through CRM tools (e.g.,
- Encircle, Service Titan).
- Responsible for directing, mentoring, and training Technician personnel.
- Represent Bill Howe Emergency Mitigation on-call management rotation.
- Meet or exceed billing, revenue, and profit margin goals as defined by Bill Howe.
- Use temporary labor resources and other means to ensure overtime is not incurred (excluding after-hours
- overtime).
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and other resources required for mitigation projects.
- Maintain thorough records for insurance claims and audit purposes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, subcontractors, and customers.
- Using temp labor resources and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet project goals.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial restoration
- 3+ years project management experience
- IICRC certifications in water and smoke restoration.
- Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Excellent written, oral, listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time.
- Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations and procedures to develop effective solutions
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
- Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).
Environmental Conditions:
- Travel to a variety of work sites every day in a company vehicle.
- May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.
