Description:
Seeking a Mitel Telecom Engineer to work with IT and Risk Services to update features within current Mitel system.
Responsibilities:
Technical Resource with at least a couple of years of experience with hands-on Mitel configuration and support.
Essential Duties:
- Need to build additional team queues for the ALP Claims department like those already in place for WC claims (phones rolling as needed from extension to extension)
- Need a reconciliation of toll-free numbers to understand which employee is assigned a number, which might be assigned to former employees, and how many may need to be added
- Improvements in holiday routing (the flow of prompts and instructions are clunky)
- Implementation of new routing for Spanish calls related to auto claims
- ShoreTel Call Recorder set-up for the ALP Claims department with tutorials on how to use
- Exploring integration of call recordings automatically going into Onbase; currently being done manually and can get missed
- More consistent and reliable call recordings; intermittent outages don't seem to receive high priority for resolution
- Need to implement/ensure email notifications are sent when there are voicemails for the PreAuth intake team, and there inconsistencies in retrieval are experienced by the same team.
- Intermittent forced log-off issues (e.g. unknowingly being in Out of Service status or Logged Out status sometimes remedied by logging off and back into Mitel Connect)
- Intermittent echoing (audio) issues
