We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch millwork solutions to our clients. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of woodwork and casework, who can navigate the engineering industry with ease. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and engineer custom millwork projects, including but not limited to, cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and production team to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
3. Prepare and review detailed shop drawings and specifications using CAD software.
4. Conduct material take-offs and order materials as necessary for each project.
5. Perform quality checks on all projects to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
6. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design and production issues.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in woodwork and casework.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in millwork engineering, with a focus on woodwork and casework.
3. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
4. Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of custom millwork projects.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex design and production issues.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with a diverse team.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
8. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
