Alpha Paving Industries LLC is the industry leader in the Central Texas for paving and pavement maintenance. We are currently accepting applications for a full time Asphalt Milling Labor/Operator to join our asphalt paving division. We are searching for candidates that are punctual, dependable, flexible, team oriented, safety conscience, and hard working.
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Physical ability to labor and operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours
- Employee is required to climb on and off heavy equipment
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds individually and 150 pounds with assistance
- Must have visual acuity in varying degrees of light, darkness, and weather conditions
- Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work environment periodically exposes employees to high levels of noise and/or environmental exposures such as dust, asphalt, as consistent with a construction project
- Must pass physical, drug test, and criminal background check
- Must have a valid Texas Drivers License in good standing with approved motor vehicle report
- Having current Texas CDL is a plus
