Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our well established and growing Environmental Remediation practice in New England. As a key member of our remediation group, candidate will be working on rewarding projects throughout New England and the United States within a diverse culture and having access to exceptional training and career development opportunities. The job responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: + Serves as project engineer on mid- to large size projects. + Provides geotechnical expertise for studies and design efforts. + Provides oversight and/or direction for geotechnical field investigations. + Develops complex technical solutions for clients. + Depending on level of experience, performs quality control reviews of work developed by others. + Participates in development of technical proposals. + Develops technical skills in the area of geotechnical regulatory, planning, design and construction phase projects. + Coordinate with diverse project teams. + Depending on level of experience, may serve as a project manager and attend client meetings. + Work with Senior Leaders to grow the regional Geotechnical practice. **Qualifications** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: + BA/BS in Geotechnical, Civil, Marine or Environmental Engineering or related field + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review + Ability to travel to client sites and regulatory agencies + Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Master’s Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Marine or Environmental Engineering + 3+ years of related project experience in Civil, Geotechnical, Marine, or Environmental Remediation Engineering design or construction projects. + PE or ability to obtain PE within 1 year + Progressive engineering and project management experience. + Experience with Civil and/or Geotechnical Design Software + OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification. + Experience and confidence to work independently to produce high quality deliverables on time and on budget. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
